GMP certification has officially been transferred to and managed by TQF (Taiwan Quality Food) Association from Industrial Development Bureau of Ministry of Economic Affair (IDB, MOEA) since June 24th 2015. In the meantime, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in Taiwan has been improved and renamed as the TQF product certification scheme. TQF is a food safety and quality certification system that incorporates the accreditation surveillance by TAF (Taiwan Accreditation Foundation), a globally recognized accreditation body in Taiwan. Products are certified against the TQF specifications and standards in accordance with the food safety fundamentals (GHP and GMP) and the food safety management plan, the HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point). TQF certificate and logo can then be issued to the suppliers in compliance of conformity assessments by TQF recognized certification bodies which are accredited in regard to ISO/IEC 17065.
